Greenwich Parents Offer $7.5 Million Settlement In Son's Suicide Lawsuit
The parents sued the Greenwich town and school system and contend officials didn't do enough to prevent bullying.

GREENWICH, CT — The parents of a Greenwich student who shot himself to death are offering to settle a lawsuit against the town and school system for $7.5 million.
Lawyers for the town and school system have said the town and school system isn’t liable, according to the Greenwich Time.
Bart Palosz committed suicide in August 2013, a day after starting his sophomore year at Greenwich High.

The lawsuit filed by parents Anna and Franciszek Palosz contends that the school system didn’t follow anti-bullying policies and that school staff knew their son was being bullied since grade school.

Bart Palosz used a family shotgun that was kept in a secured locker to commit suicide.
He was born in Poland and moved to Stamford in 2002 and then to Greenwich in 2006, according to his obituary. He enjoyed technology and was a member of the Greenwich High School Video Game Club.
