Greenwich Police are investigating the weekend burglary of a Knollwood Drive home.
Police responded to a burglar alarm just before 4:30 a.m. May 30 and found that someone had forced open a second-floor window of the unoccupied home, according to police spokesman Lt. Kraig Gray.
The department’s new canine unit was called out to search for the burglars but was unable to find anyone, Gray said. Gray said it was the first call for the canine team of Officer Keith Scorca and canine Kato who graduated from the Connecticut State Police Academy two days earlier on May 28.
