Greenwich Property Owners Killed in New York Plane Crash
MLB executive Susanne Hilgefort and husband Michael Mydlarz were among the people killed in a small plane crash over the weekend.

GREENWICH, CT— A Major League Baseball executive and her husband were among the people killed in a small plane crash Saturday near Albany, New York.
Susanne Hilgefort, 48, and husband Michael Mydlarz, 50, are listed as the owners of 32 Bedford Road and 64 Cambridge Drive in Greenwich, according to the Greenwich Time. They also own property in Stamford.
The small plane crashed Saturday evening after takeoff at Hogan Airport, according to Aviation Pros. There were a total of four people on board. Another person whose identity hasn't been released was also killed.

The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating the crash.
Hilgefort was one of MLB's longest-tenured employees, according to MLB.com.

She was with MLB since January 1994 and started as a manager of production/programming, according to her LinkedIn profile. She worked her way up the ranks to a senior manager position and was named a senior director in January 2002.
She was a key player in making the jump forward to modern baseball broadcasting as the senior director of broadcasting business affairs.
Commisioner Rob Manfred described Hilgefort as a warm and caring person and was an avid fan of the outdoors and world travel.
Hilgefort was the senior director of affiliate sales and marketing when the MLB Network launched in 2009.
