Greenwich Public Schools Makes Decision On Wednesday's Schedule
Snow is in the forecast for tomorrow, and the Greenwich Police Department has released an update on the cleanup from last week's storm.

GREENWICH, CT — Officials with Greenwich Public Schools have canceled classes for Wednesday, March 7, in anticipation for the snow storm headed toward Connecticut.
The district urges parents and students to stay tuned to multiple communication channels for updates on the opening status of schools for Thursday, March 8.
Cleanup from last week's nor'easter is nearly completed, and only about 180 Eversource customers in Greenwich remain without power as of 4:32 p.m. on Tuesday, according to the utility company.

A winter storm is approaching the area and residents are urged to prepare. Current forecasts call for heavy wet snow accumulating up to 12 inches along the coast and higher amounts inland. Strong wind and coastal flooding can also be expected.

Traveling through the region may be hazardous as crews continue to clean-up from last weekend’s storm. New power outages may occur. Please see the following Eversource website links for important information concerning storm preparedness:
As of 2 P. M. all but 4 roads have been opened to traffic. Utility crews continue to work to restore service to customers.
Hazardous Conditions Possible
A forecasted winter storm is expected to move into the area later tonight and last through late Wednesday to early Thursday morning. Heavy wet blowing snow as much as two inches an hour may make driving difficult at times during the height of the storm.
