GREENWICH, CT — The Greenwich Public Schools PTA Council held its annual Essence Awards ceremony last week.

Created in 2011, the awards pay homage to GPS volunteers who contribute their time and expertise in support of the school district.

The qualifications for this award include selflessness, ongoing involvement, being a willing team member and a motivator. The honoree significantly improves the school community and is a representative of PTA values of collaboration, commitment, respect and integrity.
