Greenwich Realtor Claims Influx Of Women Could Ruin RTM: Blog
In a scathing post on his blog, Christopher Fountain says a host of new RTM candidates are "suffering from Trump Derangement Syndrome."

GREENWICH, CT — Greenwich realtor and blogger Christopher Fountain has a bone to pick with the host of new, female candidates running for the town's Representative Town Meeting this year.
In a scathing post on his blog, Fountain argues that Indivisible Greenwich helped flood this fall's ballot with dozens of "angry women, all suffering from Trump Derangement Syndrome."
"These 'Trump Resistance' members have falsely described themselves in the press and in their literature as non-partisan, and claim a diverse membership comprised of men and women, Democrats, Republicans and Independents: nothing could be further from the truth," writes Fountain. "They're a band of far-left women, mostly wealthy housewives with nothing much to do now that summer's ended and those handsome country club tennis pros have returned to college. And, given the author's emphasis on wealth disparity in town and her condescending references to 'long-time townies', it's pretty obvious where she and her stealth group intend to take the town: nowhere good. (Another giveaway is her reference to 'comrades' and the guillotine mob of the French Revolution, but never mind)."

Fountain calls for residents not to vote for these RTM candidates, in part because he believes that they will demand the legislative body pass a host of liberal policies.
His diatribe has not gone unnoticed. Vogue has written about it, and Indivisible Greenwich calls it "hateful, sexist and perverted vitriol" in the below post on the group's Facebook page.
