"The upcoming election presents a vital opportunity for Republicans to counter a web of lies spun by Democrats, who claim Republicans do not support education and school construction, which is utterly false," MacGillivray added. "Our First Selectmen and Board of Estimation and Taxation (BET) have put forward $112 million, the largest capital budget for schools in the town’s history. We will shine the light of truth and stand firm against their deceitful tactics."
Joining Camillo at the top of the ticket are incumbents Lauren Rabin, a selectwoman, who is seeking a third term in office, Jackie Budkins, who is currently in her first term as town clerk, and Heather Smeriglio, who was first elected as tax collector in 2019.
The political party also unanimously endorsed four Board of Education candidates: Adele Carrol, incumbent Karen Kowalski, Richard Niemynski and Wendy Vizzo Walsh.
BET candidates include David Alfano, Lucia Delvalle Jansen, and incumbents Nisha Arora, Karen Fassuliotis, Harry Fisher and Leslie Tarkington.
Incumbents Kit Mill, Mark Pruner and Jeff Reardon were nominated for the Board of Assessment Appeals.
Donna Malone and Charles Edward Thivierge Jr., both incumbents, and Dan Sinisi and Tom Waurishuk were nominated for constable positions.
"We have a diverse and inclusive group of candidates," said RTC Vice Chair Jane Sprung in a news release.
