Following Saturday's 13-6 loss to top-ranked Darien, the Greenwich boys lacrosse team slipped four spots to No. 7 in the latest New Haven Register top 10 state poll.
Nine of the teams in the top 10 are from Fairfield County. Darien (2-0) is a unanimous No. 1, followed by Wilton (2-0), Fairfield Prep (3-0), Ridgefield (2-0), New Canaan (0-1), Cheshire (2-1), Greenwich (1-1), McMahon (2-0), Staples (2-0) and Weston (2-0).
