Despite a loss over the weekend in the "Checking For Cancer" Invitational in Pennsylvania, the Greenwich boys lacrosse team actually climbed three spots to No. 4 in the latest New Haven Register top-10 state poll.
The Cardinals dropped to 2-2 following a 13-5 defeat Conestaga (PA), although they did have a big 10-9 win over New Canaan last week.

Greenwich visits No. 5 Wilton (2-2), which also lost in Pennsylvania, on Thursday in a key early-season FCIAC contest.
All 10 teams in this week's poll are from Fairfield County.

Darien (4-1) held on to the top spot despite an 11-5 setback at Haverford while Fairfield Prep (5-0) and Ridgefield (4-1) each climbed one spot to second and third, respectively.
New Canaan (1-2) starts the second five and is followed by McMahon (4-1), New Fairfield (5-0), Weston (4-0) and Staples (4-1). New Fairfield is the only newcomer in this week's poll.
