Greenwich B'Ball Coach Makes Debut Today

Chrys Hernandez begins her first season as Greenwich girls basketball coach on Wednesday when the Cardinals host Fairfield Warde at 6:30 p.m.
Hernandez, who played on McMahon's team that reached the Class L state finals in 2001, inherits a club that finished 5-15 last season in the always tough FCIAC.

She spent the past two seasons as an assistant for the Manhattanville College women's baskeball team. Danielle Morgan had served as Greenwich's coach for the past three seasons.
Key returnees for the Cardinals include junior guard Caroline Barrett, senior guard Angie Jaramillo and senior forward Amanda Onofrio.
