The Greenwich girls lacrosse team will get another chance to win its second state championship after Claire Feeney recorded four goals and an assist in Wednesday's 11-6 semifinal win over No. 2 seed Cheshire.
The sixth-seeded Cardinals (14-5) will face No. 5 Glastonbury in the final on Saturday at Stratford's Bunnell High School. Game time is set for 11 a.m. Glastonbury advanced with an 8-4 win over Fairfield Ludlowe.

Last year, Greenwich lost to New Canaan 10-9 in the Division I championship game. This year, the CIAC expanded the girls lacrosse state tournament to a three-division format.
Greenwich won its only state championship with an 11-9 victory over Wilton in 2005.

-- Greenwich will be represented in the 66th annual New England interscholastic outdoor track and field championship set for Saturday in Burlington, Vermont.
The Cardinals' 4x100 boys relay team of Victor Dahl, Timothy Frazier, Ryan Kelly, Marcus Motill, Randy Peterson and Nick Pulitano qualified seventh with a time of 43.49.1.
Frazier also qualified 11th in the 110 meter hurdles with a time of 11.18.
In addition, Greenwich's 4x400 girls relay squad (Anna Black, Abigail Markowitz, Elizabeth Markowitz, Amanda Michaud, Isabella Narvaez and Cate Wright) qualified 11th with a time of 4:01.90.
Geenwich's Abigail Markowitz qualified fifth in the girls 800 meters (2:15.26).
