The Tigers (14-4) snapped a three-game losing streak against Greenwich, which beat Ridgefield last year in the first round of the FCIAC playoffs and the first round of the state tournament.

Andrew Feeney scored with 7:26 left in the first quarter to give Greenwich a 1-0 lead, but the Cardinals (11-7) did not score again until the 5:45 mark of the third quarter. By then, Ridgefield had open an 8-1 cushion.
