Greenwich Scores and Standings: Nov. 1

Shane Nastahowski and Joel Arroyo each scored two touchdowns Monday as the Greenwich football team routed winless Westhill 41-7 in a game postponed from Saturday.

The Cardinals improved to 6-1 overall and 5-0 in the FCIAC with their fourth straight victory while Westhill dropped to 0-7.

Through no fault of its own, Greenwich now has played three winless teams this season and won those games by a combined margin of 145-24.

On Monday, Arroyo hauled in touchdown receptions of 26 and 31 yards from Liam O'Neil to help the Cardinals build a 20-0 advantage at halftime.

In addition to Nastahowski's two touchdowns, Mike Longo returned a fumble 82 yards for a touchdown and Mark Bernstein added a 4-yard TD run.

Greenwich, which Staples or New Canaan to get upset to reach the FCIAC championship game, hosts McMahon (4-3) on Saturday.

The FCIAC girls soccer playoffs are scheduled to resume with three quarterfinals on Wednesday with the higher seeds hosting the games. (One contest was played on Saturday as No. 5 seed Greenwich defeated No. 4 Darien, 1-0).

Here is the updated schedule (a time still hasn't been determined for the Trumbull-St. Joseph game).

No. 7 Warde at No. 2 New Canaan, 5 p.m

No. 6 Wilton at No. 3 Westhill, 3 p.m.

The semifinals have been moved to Thursday (5 and 7 p.m.) at Norwalk with the final now set for Saturday at 2 p.m. at Fairfield Ludlowe.

The start of the FCIAC girls volleyball playoffs have been delayed until Thursday. Here are the quarterfinal matchups (all at 4 p.m.):
