Greenwich Scores and Standings, Sept 22

Greenwich starting quarterback Liam O'Neill is expected to miss at least another two weeks while recovering from a concussion suffered in the Cardinals' final preseason scrimmage against Masuk.

Sophomore Jose Melo was behind center in the last week's season-opening 16-3 victory over Ridgefield.

Greenwich was held without an offensive touchdown, scoring on kickoff and interception returns. The Cardinals were held to only a safety in the first half.

Greenwich hosts Bassick on Friday at Cardinals Stadium (7 p.m.)

Greenwich 3, Fairfield Warde 0 -  Shannon Colligan scored two more goals, giving her nine in four games for the undefeated Cardinals.
