Greenwich United Way's 'Sole Sisters' Raise $1.3 Million

The Greenwich United Way annual ‘Sole Sisters’ luncheon raised more than $1.3 million for the agency’s programs.
Lisa Baird, the United States Olympic Committee chief marketing officer and an Old Greenwich resident, was the keynote speaker at the largest Sole Sisters luncheon crowd ever that attended the April 23 event at the Greenwich Country Club.
The event marked 10 years of the United Way Women’s Initiative “Stepping Up to Help Others Step Forward.” More than 350 supporters attended the lunch and the fashion boutique for shopping.
