Greenwich Woman Dies After Serious East Hartford Crash: State PD
The crash occurred on Route 5/15 on Feb. 18.

GREENWICH, CT — The 67-year-old Cos Cob woman, who was seriously injured in a multi-vehicle crash on Route 5/15 in East Hartford on Feb. 18, died on Saturday, five days after the accident, according to Connecticut State Police.
Kathryn Kesseli Guimard, of Valleywood Road, was driving her 2017 Toyota Camry at about 2:15 p.m. near exit 90 when her car was rear-ended by a 2018 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck driven by Glastonbury resident Thomas Napolitano, 33, state police said.
Guimard was treated at Hartford Hospital where she was pronounced dead at 1:40 p.m., according to the Office of Chief Medical Examiner.

Two other vehicles were involved in the chain-reaction crash, and some of the occupants also may have suffered injuries, state police said.
The crash remains under investigation by state police.
