Greenwich Woman In Running for Miss America Title Entertains the Town's Seniors
Pippa Leigh entertained seniors at The Nathaniel Witherell and the River House Adult Day Care Center.
Greenwich resident Pippa Leigh has been very busy around the state of Connecticut the past few weeks, as part of the Miss America Organization.
Leigh is Miss Hockanum Valley 2015 and she’s taking service to the community as a very important part of her reign.
Miss America Serves Day was a national day of service that Miss America’s local and state titleholders participated in on Saturday, April 18 across the United States. Leigh made appearances at two facilities that serve the town’s elderly on Saturday.

The four points on the Miss America crown represent Style, Service, Scholarship, and Success. Leigh says, “I personally strive for these four attributes in every aspect of my life. The word ‘service’ is especially dear to me as I find the greatest happiness through helping others.”
