Greenwich's Family Centers Hosts 'Scrabble Challenge' Fundraiser
The event was held on Nov. 15 at the Stamford Hilton.
From Family Centers.org: GREENWICH, CT — More than 40 teams showed off their skills with two-letter words on Wednesday, Nov. 15 and vied for “Scrabble Supremacy” at Literacy Volunteers at Family Centers’ 17th Annual Scrabble Challenge fundraiser.
The event, which was co-chaired by David Ball, David Tuttle and Victoria Zerjav, brought together families, school groups and members of the business community for an evening of friendly competition. Players enjoyed cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, a silent auction and two rounds of Scrabble.
When the dust settled, teams from FactSet and the Stanwich School claimed titles in the Corporate and Schools divisions, respectively. Team Day 3 took the Friends & Family division championship.
