GRS Presents: SAVING THE NEXT GENERATION: FIGHTING EXTREMISM IN THE MIDDLE EAST - Promoting Respect and Human Values for All

Greenwich Reform Synagogue's Adult Education Program invites the community to attend a special presentation by Saving the Next Generation founders Ahmad El Assaad and Abir El Assaad, along with SNG scholarship student Mostapha Gharib, and GRS member Marv Berenblum. Their remarks will explain how Saving the Next Generation (SNG) works to promote human values and respect for all people regardless of religion, nationality, ethnicity, and/or gender, followed by a question and answer session. A light breakfast will be served. Admission is free but reservations are appreciated by calling GRS at 203-629-0018. The presentation is especially appropriate for families with children ages 10 and over.

The El Assaads are founders of Saving the Next Generation, a secular, non-sectarian foundation that works with under-served young people in the Middle East between the ages of 10 and 22, regardless of religious affiliation, gender, ethnicity or nationality. SNG promotes a culture of life, liberty, peace and opportunity by encouraging and fostering young people through education, diversity and human values. To eliminate extremism, while inspiring acceptance of and respect for each other's differences. SNG offers a series of fun-packed co-educational weekend camps and instructive day trips. SNG also offers scholarships for talented students to leading universities, both regionally and internationally.
