Historical Society Announces 'Festival Of Tabletop Trees' Winners
The historical society recently announced the submission winners for this year's Festival of Tabletop Trees.

GREENWICH, CT — With the lobby filled with gloriously decorated trees donated by more than 30 local nonprofits, retailers, decorators and garden centers for the annual silent auction, the Greenwich Historical Society announced winners in several categories:
- Best in Show: Gingham & Gable “An Evening at the Ballet: The Nutcracker”
- Lifetime Achievement Award: Louise Weber of the Garden Club of Old Greenwich “Garden Delight”
- Most Artistic: Abigail Fox Design “Woodland Fox Getting Ready for the Holidays”
- Most Traditional: The Rummage Room “Sleigh Bells Are Ringing”
- Most Whimsical: The Bruce Museum “Peaceful Forest”
- Most Creative: Japanese Society of Fairfield County “Japanese Holiday”
- Most Child-Like: Salon 221 LLC “Tannenbaum Trail Terrain”
The Festival of Tabletop Trees takes place in the Greenwich Historical Society Museum lobby, Dec. 6-8 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Dec. 9 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Trees are purchased via a silent auction. Winners pick up trees at the end of the festival.

While viewing the trees, visitors can enjoy shopping and refreshments in the museum store, which is open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m/, and on Saturdays and Sundays, noon to 4 p.m. Complimentary gift wrapping is offered. Historical Society members receive a 10 percent discount.
