Hold Off That Throwback to 1969
The Back to the Garden 1969 concert has been postponed until Thursday, Aug. 14 at Roger Sherman Baldwin Park.

The Department of Parks and Recreation has announced that Back to the Garden 1969 concert has been postponed until Thursday, Aug. 14.
The concert will begin at 7:15 p.m., and continue to 8:45 p.m. at Roger Sherman Baldwin Park on Arch Street, opposite the town’s ferry docks.
“Back To The Garden 1969” is a group of professional musicians who have performed
together in various combinations over the years, and have now come together to celebrate
the music, and spirit, of the Woodstock Era. The band is presenting the great variety of
classic sounds associated with Woodstock, including acoustic and electric rock, acid rock,
soul music, folk and much more. The musical performances are a tribute to the artists who
made Woodstock great, and are authentically performed in the style of those artists. The
band also appears in 60’s period fashion, and will use sound clips and lighting to recreate
the mood of the festival.
