Home Burglary In Broad Daylight Reported In Old Greenwich: Police

Police said the burglary occurred while the residents were out running errands.

GREENWICH, CT — A home burglary in broad daylight was reported in Old Greenwich on July 17, the Greenwich Police Department said on Tuesday.

The burglary happened at a home in the area of Halsey Drive, Lt. Patrick Smyth of the GPD said, noting it occurred between 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. while the residents were out running errands.

Entry to the residence was gained through a window that was left open, Smyth said.
