Injured Pedestrian Issued Warning After Being Hit By Car: GPD
The crash occurred Tuesday evening, April 17, in Old Greenwich.

GREENWICH, CT — The 59-year-old Greenwich woman who was struck and injured by a vehicle in Old Greenwich on April 17 has been issued a written warning for crossing against signal, according to Greenwich police.
The woman's identity has not been released by police, but she spent time in a hospital ICU following the crash. She is now recuperating at home and is expected to make a full recovery, said Greenwich Police Lt. David Nemecek.
She was crossing Arcadia Road near Sound Beach Avenue when she was struck at about 7:40 p.m. and was knocked to the ground.

The driver of the vehicle, who immediately stopped and cooperated with police, has not been cited.
