GREENWICH, CT — Greenwich Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Toni Jones announced last week the appointment of Kerry Gavin as interim principal at Cos Cob School, effectively immediately.

Gavin replaces Gene Schmidt, who recently retired after holding the position since 2013.

Gavin will serve as the chief administrator of Cos Cob School to develop and implement policies, programs, curriculum activities, and budgets and promote the educational development of each student and the professional development of each staff member, the district said in a news release.

I look forward to working with the amazing staff and establishing a partnership in the service of the children and families of Cos Cob."
