Ivanka Trump Used Private Email To Correspond With Greenwich's Linda McMahon: Report

GREENWICH, CT — First Daughter Ivanka Trump used a private email account to discuss a women’s entrepreneurship initiative with Greenwich resident Linda McMahon, the federal Small Business Administrator, according to the government watchdog group American Oversight and Newsweek.

The emails from February essentially show government business being conducted by the two, something President Donald Trump repeatedly complained about during his campaign against Hillary Clinton.

American Oversight obtained the emails through Freedom of Information Act requests. Ivanka Trump was not officially a White House employee at the time, but the publication notes that she had a chief of staff at the time.

Newsweek also writes that she likely had access to a White House email account she could have used.
