It wasn't pretty, but the boys basketball team managed to snap its three-game losing streak on Tuesday.

Alejandro Rodriguez and Alex McMurray each scored nine points as the Cardinals overcame a sluggish first half to post a 46-39 victory over New Canaan, which nearly earned its first FCIAC victory over the season.
