Fight Led To Assault Arrest At Old Greenwich Social Club: Update
The alleged incident occurred on the night of Nov. 2, and allegedly left the victim bloodied.

GREENWICH, CT — A 28-year-old Greenwich man was arrested on a warrant on Dec. 8 charging him with felony second-degree assault in connection with a Nov. 2 incident at the Old Greenwich Social Club on Sound Beach Avenue that left the victim bleeding from the face, according to Greenwich police.
Robert Woodbury Jr., of Conyers Farm Drive, was additionally charged with second-degree breach of peace. Though bloodied in the alleged attack, the victim did not require a visit to the hospital.
The alleged assault occurred at about 9:45 p.m. on Nov. 2. Officers were called to the bar on a report of a fight between two men, and during the fracas Woodbury Jr. allegedly struck the victim with a beer bottle, according to police.

Authorities were able to determine Woodbury Jr.'s identity through interviews with the victim and other patrons and staff, and surveillance video.
Woodbury Jr. surrendered to Greenwich police on the 8th and was released after posting a $5,000 bond. He is scheduled to appear in Stamford Superior Court on Dec. 22.
