Stranger Kisses Child In Greenwich McDonald's: Police

A 76-year-old New Yorker caused a disturbance Christmas Eve at McDonald's, then capped it off by kissing a child he didn't know.

GREENWICH, CT — A 76-year-old New York City man - who police said also has an address in Greenwich - was arrested on Christmas Eve after causing a disturbance in the West Putnam Avenue McDonald's when he kissed a child on the cheek who he didn't know, according to police.

Donald A. Rockness, whose primary address is in New York City but who also has an address on Lake Avenue in Greenwich, was standing in line when he tried to strike up a conversation with the person in front of him, police said. When the man ignored Rockness, he struck the man in the back repeatedly, said police. The victim complained of pain following the attack.

Rockness' "bizarre behavior" continued when he then went up to a family sitting at a table and kissed the juvenile on the cheek.
