New COVID-19 Cases Drop In Greenwich Public Schools
There are currently 38 active cases affecting 12 schools in town.
GREENWICH, CT — Following a spike of new COVID-19 cases after spring recess in April, numbers have dropped within Greenwich Public Schools, according to the latest update.
The district's COVID-19 case tracker updates every Tuesday on Friday. Earlier this week, 47 new cases were reported. On Friday, there were 25 new cases, the lowest single update since April 1.
The peak during the recent spike was 113 cases on May 10, followed by 112 on May 13.

There are currently 38 active cases affecting 12 schools in town. Of the active cases, 27 are students, eight are teachers, two are service providers and one is an administrator.
Greenwich High School has the most active cases with 11.

Since the school year began, there have been 3,320 total positive cases reported, according to the district's COVID-19 tracker.
