CT Weather: Finally, Some Great Weather For Us
Here is an updated look at the 7-day forecast and an early look at the upcoming Father Day weekend in Connecticut.
This has to be the best weather forecast of 2018 thus far. Nothing but sunshine in the 7-day weather forecast for Connecticut, except a chance of some stormy weather on Wednesday. Temps will be in the upper 70s this week in Southern Connecticut and in the low 80s in Northern Connecticut.
We were definitely due for some nice weather. And on Father's Day, we're looking at sun and temps around 80 degrees.
The National Weather Service says, "The chances for showers will decrease tonight as high pressure from the north builds into the region...High pressure will continue to protect the area from any storm systems into the middle of the new work week. Temperatures will start off below normal on Monday, with highs only in the upper 60s to lower 70s. Temperatures will then be on a warming through the middle of the week with near normal readings expected by Wednesday."

Here is the updated weather forecast for Southern Connecticut:
Monday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 70. Northeast wind 7 to 10 mph.
Monday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 54. Southeast wind 5 to 8 mph becoming calm after midnight.
Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 73. Light and variable wind becoming south 5 to 9 mph in the morning.
Tuesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 58. Southwest wind 5 to 8 mph.
Wednesday: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 77.
Wednesday Night: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 7pm. Partly cloudy, with a low around 63.
Thursday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 79.
Thursday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 61.
Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 76.

Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 77. Calm wind becoming south 5 to 8 mph in the morning.
Tuesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 57. South wind 5 to 8 mph.
Wednesday: A chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 8am. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 81. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
Wednesday Night: A chance of showers and thunderstorms between 10pm and 1am. Partly cloudy, with a low around 63. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
Thursday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 83.
