Connecticut Weather: 'Nor'easter' Now Likely To Be A 'Miss': UPDATE
A Nor'easter may now track close enough to Connecticut later this week and is expected to have a big impact on our weather.

UPDATE: Looks like no Nor'easter now for Connecticut on Friday. Here's the updated story.
We just can’t catch a break weather-wise in Connecticut, can we? The weather is downright terrible today, and yet it may be getting a lot worse by the end of the week.
NBC Connecticut Meteorologist Ryan Hanrahan and Kaitlyn McGrath are both predicting that a nor’easter’s track may now impact Connecticut’s weather on Friday.

“Heads up! The Friday forecast may undergo some big changes. Late season nor'easter may track closer to us with clouds and rain. Weekend still looks good as does the heat for early next week,” Hanrahan wrote.
McGrath added on her Twitter page, “Soo there has been a bit of a shift in the coastal storm for Friday. Looks to be soaking with whipping winds. Happy June!”

And before we get to Friday we’re experiencing some balmy weather (sarcasm) with temps in the mid 50s with off-and-on rain showers.
WTNH Meteorologist Gil Simmons explains that it actually feels like it is in the 40s today. But there is some semblance of positive news in the immediate forecast. (Get Patch's Daily Newsletter and Real Time News Alerts. Or, if you have an iPhone, download the free Patch app.)
“Just hold in there, before you get really upset, the sun will come out tomorrow! Wednesday will feature some clearing skies and sunshine for the afternoon with temperatures in the 60s to near 70. I did have to make some changes to Friday's forecast… It looks like rain coming in on Friday,” Simmons wrote.
Once we get past Friday’s expected nasty weather we are looking at an amazing weather weekend with temps in the 70s to near 80 and plenty of sunshine. Finally, we deserve this after the past few months of rain and cold.
