Obituary: Patricia Swasey, 77, Of Greenwich

Patricia Rinehimer Swasey died peacefully at her home in Greenwich, CT on November 29 th, 2023, at the age of 77. Pat grew up in Tunkhannock, Pa. She graduated from Foxhollow School and Bennett College. Pat was beautiful, gentle yet strong and very funny. She had a love of the Arts, British History, Gardens and Antiques. She was a member of the Greenwich Garden Club, Christ Church Greenwich Altar Guild, and member of the board of Laurel House. Locally, she enjoyed her walks on Tod’s Point in Greenwich. Above all her greatest love was her beloved grandson Loring, whom he called Nana. She is survived by her Daughter Courtenay Crawford and her Grandson, Loring Crawford of Darien CT, brothers John Rinehimer (Barrie) of St Petersburg, Florida, and David Rinehimer (Ivy) of Tunkhannock, PA, and her cherished dog Chloe. She was predeceased by her Daughter Emily Crocker Swasey. Pat will be deeply missed by her friends and family. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday January 19th at 11am at Christ Church, Greenwich, 254 E Putnam Ave, Greenwich, CT.
