Rep. Himes Endorses Sandy Litvack For Greenwich First Selectman

Litvack is challenging incumbent Republican Peter Tesei for the post.

GREENWICH, CT — Democratic First Selectman candidate Sandy Litvack, the Greenwich resident and attorney who is challenging incumbent Republican Peter Tesei this fall, picked up the formal endorsement this week of United States Rep. Jim Himes (D-4th).

"I'm supporting Sandy Litvack for First Selectman because he is the manager our Town deserves," said Himes, who also lives in Greenwich, in a statement. "Sandy embodies the leadership experience Greenwich needs to bring in new businesses, improve our local infrastructure, and to make sure our children and elderly have the resources they need to stay in Greenwich. I am voting for Sandy Litvack and Drew Marzullo on November 7th, because I know the town will prosper in their hands."

The General Election will be held on Tuesday, November 7, and Litvack added, "In these times of political turmoil in Washington, we in Greenwich are truly lucky to have a Congressman like Jim Himes. And, since Congressman Himes is himself a resident of Greenwich, I am especially proud to receive his endorsement for First Selectman. I am eager to bring my experience in management to Greenwich in these difficult times."
