Riverside School To Celebrate 90th Anniversary

GREENWICH, CT — Riverside School will celebrate its 90th anniversary on Oct. 20.

Superintendent of Greenwich Public Schools Dr. Toni Jones, Deputy Superintendent E. Ann Carabillo, parents, students, teachers and staff will gather to embrace the legacy of Riverside School and look ahead to its bright future.

First Selectman Fred Camillo will present an official proclamation honoring the school’s milestone year.

The ceremony will also feature the student winners of an ongoing art contest "Riverside in 90 Years: Visions of Our Future School."

Celebrated Greenwich musician Rob Mathes and his wife Tammy will also be in attendance.

Rob will perform the Riverside School Song, which he wrote when Tammy taught first grade at Riverside over two decades ago.
