Road Closed Due To Car Accident With Injuries: Greenwich Police

Greenwich police said Sunday night they are investigating a car accident on East Putnam Avenue near Old Church Road.

GREENWICH, CT — The Greenwich Police Department said Sunday night they are investigating a car accident with injuries on East Putnam Avenue near Old Church Road.

Police said East Putnam will be closed between Old Church Road and Park Avenue during the investigation, and that detours have been established.

Capt. Mark Zuccerella of the GPD said Monday morning that utility companies are on scene repairing light poles that were damaged in the accident, and that the road is expected to open around 9 a.m.
