Road Rage Assault In Old Greenwich Leads To Arrest: Police
A road rage incident involving a motorist and a bicyclist led to an arrest of an Old Greenwich resident, police said Tuesday.

GREENWICH, CT — David McShane, 52, of Old Greenwich, was arrested last Saturday after police said he assaulted a bicyclist in a road rage incident.
Lt. Martin O'Reilly said a bicyclist was riding on West End Avenue in Old Greenwich on the afternoon of Oct. 2 when a car in front of him, driven by McShane, pulled into a parking space without using a turn signal.
While riding by, the bicyclist yelled out to McShane to "use his turn signal next time," O'Reilly said.

"The next thing [the bicyclist] knows, the car comes up alongside of him and kind of forces him off the road. [McShane] gets out, kind of pushes him around a little bit, throws him on the ground," O'Reilly said.
McShane then got into his car and drove off, O'Reilly said, noting that the bicyclist sustained "some injuries", and his phone was damaged.
