Ward had been arrested several days ago and remained in custody of the LVMPD on other charges, police said. Las Vegas authorities learned of the GPD's arrest warrant, and Ward is now being held on bond. When the charges in Nevada are settled, Ward will be extradited back to Connecticut.
Police are still looking for Kristen McKenzie, of Metairie, La., who police said participated in a robbery with Ward on Mason Street in Greenwich on the afternoon of June 25.

According to the arrest warrant, police said McKenzie tried to steal several items from a retail store on Mason Street. She was confronted by store employees outside of the store.
Ward then used his vehicle to hit one of the store employees, police said in a news release.
"After striking the employee, he pointed a firearm at the employee while he lay on the ground," police said. The two were then able to drive off.
