Sea Lice Found at Greenwich Beaches

The sea lice can cause itchy rashes for swimmers.

GREENWICH, CT—Sea lice, a type of jellyfish, made their way to Greenwich beaches again.

The larval thimble jellyfish have venomous stingers that can give swimmers itchy rashes along with headaches and possible nausea, according to Greenwich Time.

Sea lice typically appear around this time every year. They typically affect swimmers underneath their swimsuits and in areas where skin rubs together.
