GREENWICH, CT — The Greenwich Board of Estimate and Taxation this week approved a $60,000 settlement between the town and the family of a Parkway School student, who reportedly broke his arm at the school in 2019, wrote the Greenwich Time.
According to the student's family, outside conditions were cold and wet on the day the then 9-year-old boy reportedly broke his arm on the playground. His family filed the lawsuit in early 2021.
The child's fall on the playground was reportedly severe enough that he required surgery, according to the lawsuit.
