CT Weather: Record Temps, Oppressive Heat In The Forecast
This would be a good week to stay inside with the air conditioning cranked up high.

If you own stock in the utility companies and air conditioning manufacturers then you'll love this weather forecast for Connecticut, and if you don't, then you'll likely hate this work week forecast. The temperature combined with the oppressive humidity on Monday and Tuesday will make it feel like 100 plus degrees. The National Weather Service has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook, a Heat Advisory and Air Quality Alert for the entire state for Monday and Tuesday.
The state could also see thunderstorms on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. In reality, we won't see real relief from the heat until Thursday, which is when temps will slide back into the mid 80s. Record high temps are forecast Monday. (To sign up for free, local breaking news alerts from more than 100 Connecticut communities, click here.)
