CT Man Claims Mouse In Food, Fights With Chinese Restaurant Staff

And he allegedly left his grandmother in the midst of the Stamford brawl to fend for herself.

STAMFORD, CT — A 25-year-old Stamford man was arrested on second-degree assault and disorderly conduct charges Thursday night after he allegedly attacked the staff of a Chinese restaurant because he claimed he found a dead mouse in his food, reports the Middletown Press.

Antwaun Boyd and his grandmother went to China Xpress on Selleck Street in Stamford to confront the staff about the discovery the night before. The restaurant said he was lying - stressing their was no mouse in the food - but a fight broke out involving Boyd, the grandmother and a host of China Xpress staffers with wooden spoons.

At one point, Boyd left, leaving his grandmother behind who was struck by a wooden spoon and went to the hospital. An employee also suffered injuries and went to the hospital.
