Road Reopened Following Crash Involving Car, Motorcycle: Greenwich PD

A car and a motorcycle collided in Greenwich on Wednesday afternoon, police said, which prompted a lengthy road closure.

GREENWICH, CT — Round Hill Road at Close Road has reopened to all traffic, according to an update from the Greenwich Police Department

A "significant injury" crash involving a car and a motorcycle occurred in the area of Round Hill Road and Close Road Wednesday afternoon, Lt. Patrick Smyth of the Greenwich Police Department said.

Police first posted about the crash shortly before 1 p.m. All first responder agencies responded to the scene, police said.

Smyth did not provide any information on injuries or how many people were involved, but said an investigation is being conducted by the GPD's Traffic Section, and further information will be released when it is available.
