Six Week Closure of Shore Road in Greenwich Begins Sept. 8
The closure is due to bridge work over Horseneck Brook.

Shore Road will be closed for six weeks beginning Tuesday, Sept. 8, for bridge work over Horseneck Brook, according to the Greenwich Department of Public Works.
The following detours will be established during the construction:
- Northbound traffic on Shore Road can use Intervale Place to Field Point Road
- Southbound traffic on Shore Road can use Horseneck Lane to Field Point Road to Intervale Place back to Shore Road
The project was designed by WMC Consulting Engineers of Newington, and construction is being executed by A. Vitti Excavators, LLC of Stamford.
