Skakel Argues Murder Conviction To U.S. Supreme Court: Report
The Kennedy cousin is seeking to have certain information banned.

GREENWICH, CT — Attorneys for Michael Skakel, the Kennedy cousin whose murder conviction in the Martha Moxley slaying was overturned, have asked the United States Supreme Court not to hear appeal arguments from Connecticut prosecutors in the case, reports NBC Connecticut.
The prosecutors are seeking to have the 2002 conviction reinstated. It was overturned by the Connecticut Supreme Court earlier this year because the justices said Skakel's legal representation was inadequate.
Skakel was sentenced to 20 years to life in the 1975 killing in Greenwich. He has been free since 2013 as he awaits a new trial.
