CT Weather: More Snow Chances Coming Up In April

Some of us saw snowflakes today, we could see more tomorrow and even more early next week. Bring on spring!

Some areas of Connecticut received a coating or more of snow today and we're not done with the snowflakes just quite yet. The snow and rain will end this afternoon but then we'll be dealing with some light snow on Saturday morning, though no real accumulation is expected. And then once again, Connecticut may see more snowflakes on Monday night and Tuesday morning.

And while the snow may not be piling up currently, it will still feel like winter this weekend with temps dropping into the 20s both Saturday and Sunday. The wind chill factor, and yes we're discussing the wind chill factor in April, will make it feel like 20 degrees at night.

There is no immediate relief in sight from the cold temps. The National Weather Service says there is still a chance of some snow in Connecticut on Saturday but it all depends on the track of the storm.

"Depending on the track and strength of an area of low pressure off the Northeast coastline, some snow or a rain-and-snow mix could also spread as far north as New York City and southern New England," the National Weather Service says, while adding that any snow accumulation would be "light."
