Stopped for Speeding, A Cos Cob Woman Faces Drug Charges

New York State Police stopped the woman for speeding on the Taconic State Parkway.

A Cos Cob woman is in New York State Police custody following her arrest for drug possession charges on Sunday.

According to a New York State Police report, the woman was stopped for speeding on the Taconic State Parkway about 10:40 a.m. Nov. 23. “While interviewing the operator, identified as Brooke B. Wilson, 30, it was discovered that her New York State driving privileges were suspended. Further investigation revealed that Wilson was found to possess PCP and Marihuana,” according to the report.

New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation from the Poughkeepsie barracks charged Wilson, of Cos Cob, with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 5th Degree, a Class D Felony, and Unlawful Possession of Marihuana, a Violation. The report did not indicate how much PCP or marijuana police found.

Wilson was arraigned before the Town of Stanford Justice Court and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $1,000 cash bail, according to the report. She is scheduled to appear before the Town of Stanford Court on Nov. 26.
