Suffield Schools Issue Decision on School Opening Because of Weather
The winter weather forecast has forced the superintendent to decide on whether to hold classes on Monday. Read the article for details.

All Suffield Public Schools are closed Monday, Jan. 12 because of the anticipated weather conditions, according the announcement posted by the school district.
All Magnet School and out of district special education placements are not in session when district schools are closed.
All sports programs and student activities also have been cancelled, according to the announcement.

The Winter Wonderland Crafting session scheduled for the McAlister Intermediate School cafe also is cancelled.
An expected mix of snow and sleet has prompted the National Weather Service to issue a hazardous weather outlook and winter weather advisory for the entire state for early Monday into Monday afternoon.
