Suspect Arrested In Greenwich Sephora Shoplifting Case: Police
The suspect got into a physical altercation with a store employee during the July 2017 incident.

GREENWICH, CT — A 20-year-old Brooklyn, NY man was arrested on robbery and larceny charges Wednesday in connection with a shoplifting incident at the Sephora store on Greenwich Avenue in July 2017, according to Greenwich police.
Dakari A. Smith, one of four suspects in the case, was arrested on a warrant after he was extradited from the Queens County, NY courthouse. The other three suspects - all women - remain at-large, but Greenwich investigators have applied for warrants for their arrests.
According to police, Smith and a store employee got into a physical altercation during the July 22 incident when the employee tried to film the suspects during the theft. No injuries were reported.

Smith's bail was set at $50,000, and he remains in custody. He is scheduled to appear in Stamford Superior Court on May 9.
