Teen, Family Safe Boating Day Is Set for Greenwich Point
Register now for the discussion and demonstration with the Greenwich Police Marine Unit for youths and families.

The Emily Catherine Fedorko Foundation will hold its ‘1st Annual Emsway Boating Safety Day’ on Sunday, June 7 at the Innis Arden Cottage at Greenwich Point Park.
The inaugural family event, sponsored by the Town of Greenwich Shellfish Commission and the Bruce Museum First Sunday Science program, will focus on both youth and parent safe boater education. It will be held from 1:30 to 4 p.m.
The program will feature an instructional talk and demonstration given by the Town of Greenwich Marine Police, who will cover boat operation, towing and how to be equipped for and act in an emergency. Ask and have your questions answered by the experts.

Refreshments include a raw bar of local shellfish, and the Bruce Museum Seaside Center with its marine touch tank, will be open for visitors
The event will continue to be held every year on the first Sunday of June at the Innis Arden Cottage.

All ages are welcome, and teens and pre-teens are encouraged to learn the check points for safe boating. No reservations are required for this free program. If complimentary beach access is needed, participants should contact Cynthia Ehlinger at cynthiae@brucemuseum.org by June 5.
