Tesei To Seek 7th Term As Greenwich First Selectman: Report

As 2019 approaches, Greenwich stands "strong and unified," according to First Selectman Peter Tesei.

GREENWICH, CT — First Selectman Peter Tesei said Monday that next year he will run for a seventh term to lead Greenwich, making the announcement during the annual Greenwich Chamber of Commerce State of the Town event, reports the Greenwich Time.

Though he easily won re-election in his first five terms, he faced a strong challenge by Sandy Litvack, a Democrat and former counsel for Disney who is now a Selectman.

Patch reached out to Tesei but did not immediately hear back.
